Master Communications Controller™
The Trapeze ITS Master Communications Controller™ (MCC) is an intelligent, software-controlled data distributor designed to control messaging to and from vehicle fleets, A radio system combiner, the MCC creates the equivalent of a private cellular system using conventional radio.
The MCC architecture is designed for ease of expandability to multiple departments (in an ITS configuration) and permits data sharing across multiple agencies. The MCC can accommodate large fleets (more than 4,000 vehicles) and coupled with its ability to host up to 16 different radio channels and mobile roaming, the MCC can cover large geographical areas for a seamless radio coverage area.
